"Where? Manila?"
"Well, a little bit far away from Manila..."
I sometimes have this kind of conversations with my Japanese friends.
Manila and Cebu are very popular sightseeing place for Japanese people.
But the place I live is not Manila nor Cebu.
It's Legazpi.
It is very big city for me who grew up in very countryside.
And there is the very beautiful volcano called Mayon.
「フィリピンに住んでます」
「どこ？マニラ？」
「えっと、同じ島なんだけどマニラよりももっと南で。。。」
って会話を日本人の方々とします。
フィリピンで有名な場所はマニラ。最近では観光地としてセブ島も人気ですよね。
でも私の住んでいるところはマニラでもセブでもなく『レガスピ (Legazpi)。』
え？どこ？って思うかもしれませんが別に山奥でもなく
『世界の村で発見！こんなところに日本人』
って番組に取り上げられるほど奥地でもありません。
田舎出身の私にとってはなかなかの都会です。
そして近くにマヨン山というとっても綺麗な活火山がある市です。

形も色も本当に綺麗。

Legaspi is in the southern part of Luzon, so we can see the ocean!
I grew up in the town far away from the sea, so this is so attractive place for me.
It's a very beautiful city.
真ん中らへんに見える長い道は空港の滑走路。
レガスピはルゾン島の端にあるので海が近い。
海のない県で育った私にとっては海が近いというだけでとても魅力的。
自然と町が綺麗に混ざり合っててとても素敵。
On top of the Lignon Hill, we can see the very beautiful Mayon Volcano.
そしてたどり着いた所から見えるマヨン山はとても綺麗。
It is very hot in the Philippines,
so if you want to go on a hike, it is better to leave in the morning or in the evening.
The entrance fee is 20pesos
and if you want to do zipline, it will cost 250 - 350pesos.
フィリピンはとっても暑いので
登るのは朝早くか夕方くらいがちょうどいいと思います。
道も整備されてるのでサンダルでも軽々行けます。
入園料20ペソ（50円くらい）で
ジップラインで遊びたい方は250ペソから350ペソ（560円〜800円）
で遊ぶことができます。
意外と坂が急なので筋肉痛が。。。
